Hield played college basketball for the Oklahoma Sooners and was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and a Consensus First-Team All-American in 2016. He was selected as the 6th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, and then traded to the Sacramento Kings. Hield quickly established himself as a sharpshooter in the NBA, known for his three-point shooting abilities. Throughout his career, he has been a consistent scorer and valuable asset for the Kings.
